I booked a private salsa lesson for me and my partner with shadid last year and only recently we were able to find the time to have the lesson.
It was well worth the wait!!
Shahid was outstanding! very patient with us both! The hour we had with him just flew by. He taught us so much within the hour that we had. If you ever fancy getting a private lesson in salsa he's the man to go to!
Highly recommended!

My partner and I joined the Rhiwbina class last night as complete beginners. I normally hate dancing and feel very self conscious, but everyone was really friendly and encouraging. I went to my first salsa class in Cardiff on Thursday. I’d been trying to get up my courage to go for months and I’m really glad I finally went. It was satisfying to learn some dance steps but more than that I enjoyed how informal it was and full of people all enjoying dancing together. First visit to Salsa Buena Dance class. The dance steps were well explained and demonstrated giving me plenty of time to practice the initial steps. We were then invited to create a large circle before partnering up to practice a short sequence, before moving on to next partner time after time. I attended a monday class as a beginner… loved it. I came to visit my dad, as he lives here, and I’m from Manchester. He’s been taking part in classes for a few weeks now and I could see how much he enjoys them so while down here thought I’d pop along to the class with him. I have a dance background but not in salsa. The way the class is broken down to the basics steps for extreme starters is brilliant. So if you’ve never danced before do not worry, the only thing you need to know is how to count to 8. I highly recommend. If I live here I’d be there every week! Amazing. Fun. Social.
